Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain slag, wide in the use range of effective utilization, without enlarging the whole device, in a slag cooling device employed upon cooling treatment of molten slag tapped out of a melting furnace for effecting the melting treatment of incineration ash, soot dust or the like.
SOLUTION: The slag-cooling device 1 is constituted of a slag-cooling conveyor 2, transferring fine grain slag C in the form of a layer and supplying molten slag B on the layer of fine grain slag C to solidify the same by cooling, while sorting the cooled and solidified slag into the fine grain slag C and rough grain slag D, a slag carry-out conveyor 3, carrying the fine grain slag C out, a slag-crushing machine 4, crushing the rough grain slag D transferred by the slag-cooling conveyor 2, and a slag-returning conveyor 5, returning the fine grain slag C into the slag-cooling conveyor 2.
