PURPOSE: To perform certain fractionation while protecting an incinerator body, by performing the discharge of molten slag by a control apparatus, which outputs an operation signal to a slag discharge apparatus when a set temp. is exceeded, to keep the boundary of an upper slag layer and a lower slag layer constant.
CONSTITUTION: A temp. measured result due to a temp. detector 13 provided to the upper surface position of an upper slag layer 10 is transmitted to a control apparatus 14 as an electric signal and, when the measured temp. reaches a preset value, slag discharge operation is ordered to the slag discharge apparatus 15 of molten slag 9 in a lower layer from the control apparatus 14 and the discharge of the molten slag 9 is performed. By the aforementioned order, the boundary level 12 of the molten slags 9, 10 is fallen. On the other hand, because the upper surface of the slag 10 is also fallen, the contact of the upper surface of the slag 10 and the lowr leading end of the temp. detector 13 is released and the operation order to the slag discharge apparatus 15 from the control apparatus 14, which received a signal meaning that the slag temp. reaches the preset temp. or less, is stopped and the discharge of the molten slag is stopped.
