Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To keep a height to the upper part of a gasification furnace low and, at the same time, fill a slag discharge line for leading the slag from a slag hopper to a slag separation apparatus with cooling water at a start of the gasification furnace.SOLUTION: Gasification furnace equipment 14 comprises a slag hopper 122, a cyclone 48A, a slag discharge line 140 for leading a mixture of slag and cooling water from the slag hopper 122 to the cyclone 48A, a cooling water circulation line 150 for returning the cooling water to the slag hopper 122, a circulation pump 160, a cooler 170 disposed downstream of the circulation pump 160, a first open/close valve 180 disposed in the slag discharge line 140, and a second open/close valve 190 disposed in the cooling water circulation line 150, wherein a third position P3 in a vertical direction where a downstream end of the slag discharge line 140 for supplying the mixture to the cyclone 48A is disposed is located higher than a first position P1 in the vertical direction where the first open/close valve 180 is disposed and a second position P2 in the vertical direction where the second open/close valve 190 is disposed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
