Abstract:
To provide a structure capable of efficiently removing slag.
A pair of claw parts 2, 2 provided on a lower end are expanded/contracted by an air cylinder 15 and a link mechanism. When the slag is removed, a slag removing apparatus 1 is moved above a molten metal furnace, and the spacing between the claw parts 2, 2 is reduced with the surface of the molten metal. Thus, a part of the slag floating on the surface of the molten metal is captured. When the slag removing apparatus 1 is pulled up in such a state, the slag at the other part can also be pulled up in a pulling manner by a part of the slag. As a result, the entire slag can be removed nearly in one work.
