PURPOSE: To improve a yield rate as well as to make labor-saving operation for marking attainable, by installing a camera, a steel sheet form recognition system, an input unit, a cathode-ray tube, terminal equipment and an arithmetic processing part, in case of slat recovery for a steel sheet having a camber.
CONSTITUTION: A thick steel sheet 2 being conveyed on a steel sheet conveyor line is caught by a camera 3 and a steel sheet form recognition system 4 as a coordinate aggregate and inputted into a slat recovery pattern decision device, then it is displayed on a cathode-ray tube 5 as a steel sheet pattern 2' reduced to 1/N size. On the other hand, length and breadth size data of a recovery scheduled slat are inputted by a CRT keyboard 8, and a slat pattern 9 is displayed on the CRT5 with the same magnification as the steel sheet pattern 2'. Plural slat patterns 9 are rotated and shifted in all directions by terminal equipment 10 and superposed on the steel sheet pattern 2' for display, and when it is well installed therein, a mid tangent is calculated by the slat pattern decision device 7, outputting it to a spray nozzle truck controller 12, thus marking is carried out by a spray nozzle 15 of a truck 14.
