Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sleeper and production method thereof, in which crevices, chops, fissures, etc., are brought owing to driving of dog spikes and with which the used sleeper can be reused. SOLUTION: After a specified quantity of rigid urethane foaming raw solution 6 has been injected from a nozzle 5 into a lower mold 4, a CSM 3 is wound on the outer periphery except the end face of a sleeper body 1 and inserted in the lower mold 4. And further, a specified quantity of rigid urethane foaming raw solution 6 is injected from the nozzle 5 into the lower mold 4. Thereafter, an upper mold 7 is put on the lower mold 4 to cover the mold and it is pressurized or heated as the whole when necessary so that the raw solution 6 foams and cures in the mold 6. In this time, the rigid urethane foaming raw solution 6 penetrates in the crevices of the sleeper body 1 to serve as an adhesive and fills the chopped parts with the CSM 3. After an appropriate curing time, the molding is removed from the mold.
