Abstract:
To provide a sleeve for a transportation roller excellent in abrasion resistance.SOLUTION: A sleeve for a transportation roller is a sleeve mounted on a shaft of the transportation roller for transporting glass heated at 500 degrees or higher, for supporting the heated glass from below. The sleeve for a transportation roller comprises a plurality of silica yarns formed by twisting a plurality of strands comprising a plurality of element wires containing silica, and is constituted so as to cover at least a part of area in a lengthwise direction of the shaft.
