Title:
SLEEVE-FORMED BODY FOR ROTARY PRINTING PRESS
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH10323970
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To optimize the bending rigidity and strength being suitable for the manufacture of a transfer carrier body, a printing plate, and a printing cylinder coating layer, etc., by covering a first strip layer comprising a thin width strip being wound by a first lead, with another material.

It is possible to wind a strip layer by shifting a strip of an equal width by one half of the strip width based on the immediately under strip layer. First, a first strip layer 10 is wound along a core bar surface 17 at a winding angle, i.e., at a lead angle α. The side edges 21 and 22 of the thin width strip respectively form a butted area 13. Another strip layer of the thin width strip, which is wound following the first winding, is covered by being shifted only by one half of the strip width, based on the first strip layer 10. A butted area 15 which generates during the winding is not located directly above the butted area 13 of the first strip layer 10, and is respectively located at a position which is shifted only by one half of the strip width, based on the butted area 13.
