Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sleeve and a method for butting and joining conductors capable of visually observing a conductor butting part from the outside of a body part.SOLUTION: Disclosed is a sleeve 100 for butting and joining conductors, which includes: a body part 103 which is formed in a hollow cylindrical shape having opening ends 101, 102 at both ends; and a visual observation hole 104 formed in the body part 103. When a conductor butting part 205 obtained by butting respective ends of two conductors 203, 204 to be connected is housed in the inside of the body part 103, the visual observation hole 104 is formed in a position and shape which enable the conductor butting part 205 to be visually observed from the outside of the body part 103 through the visual observation hole 104.
