PURPOSE: To provide a sleeve roll capable of easily taking out its sleeve, by inserting a fixing nut to one side surface of the sleeve fitted and fixed to a main body of the roll, and inserting a slide ring to the other side surface, for constructing the sleeve roll.

CONSTITUTION: A sleeve 22 made of ultra-hard alloy is fitted and fixed to the taper fitting part 12 of a main body 11 of a roll by sandwiching it between spacer rings 21, 21', and a fixing nut 23 joined to the body 11 through its screwed part 13 is brought into press contact with one side surface of the ring, and a slide ring 16 is inserted between the other side surface and a large diametral flange 15. An engaging shoulder part 17 provided to the slide ring 16 is fitted to a shoulder part 14 of the large diametral part formed on the body 11 to form a hydraulically acting part 18 communicated to a hydraulic pressure passage 19. Further, (o) rings 20, 20' are inserted to the large and small diametral parts of the body 11 to form a liquid sealing construction. The sleeve 22 is easily drawn out by removing the nut 23, and moving the slide ring 16 in the direction of the sleeve 22 by applying a hydraulic pressure to the part 18 from the passage 19.
