PURPOSE: The system is applicable in a rolling machine in which rolls are recombined during running and a rolling machine in which a thin metal sheet is rolled under high pressure by a nondriven small diameter working roll provided in the machine.

CONSTITUTION: The system is applicable in the rolling machine in which a driven and rotated touch roll 1 and a hydraulic cylinder 11 by which the touch roll 1 is pressed to be contacted with the outer peripheral face of a sleeve 55 are provided and the sleeve 55 is rotated by the above-mentioned operation and the nondriven upper working roll 61 is synchronously rotated with the running speed of a material to be rolled 50 and the rolls are recombined during running and a rolling machine in which the nondriven small diameter working roll is provided and the thin metal sheet is rolled under high pressure by the working roll.
