To provide a sleeve with a flange and a structure and method for fixing the same which can insert and fix the sleeve with the flange into a through hole formed in a wall, by surely performing the water-proofing treatment for the gap between the flange and the wall surface.
The sleeve 1 with the flange is composed of a cylindrical portion 2 to be inserted into the through hole 11 formed in the wall 10, and a flange 3 to be fixed to the wall surface 10c around the through hole 11. The flange 3 is provided with a concave groove shape pocket 4 arranged in the circumferential direction so as to be filled with a caulking material K. First, the pocket 4 is filled with the caulking material K. Next, the sleeve 1 with the flange is inserted into a hole 14 formed in an external material 13. Then, the cylindrical portion 2 is inserted into the through hole 11 formed in the wall 10, then the flange 3 is fixed to the wall surface 10c around the through hole 11, and finally the caulking material K is brought into water-tight contact with the wall surface 10c.
