To obtain a sleigh with a rudder by which delicate and stable steering is enabled, and braking or control is surely enabled by providing a bridle, one end of which is fitted to both right and left side parts of a steering part, the other end being extended to a user's hand, and further a blade for braking the sleigh.

A sleigh 1 comprises a seat part 2, a steering part 3, a string- like connecting member 4 and a bridle 5. The bridle 5 has one end fitted to both right and left side parts of the steering part 3, and the other end extended to a user's hand. The direction of the steering part 3 can be adjusted by pulling the left (right) side of the bridle 5 grasped by both hands, and left (right) foot placed on a contact part 31 can be braced enough in a stable posture, whereby the right (left) course of the sleigh can be altered. Further, the steering part 3 is provided with a blade 34, whereby when the heels brought into contact with the contact part 31 are braced to apply downward force to the rear side of the steering part 3 while the bridle 5 is pulled, the blade 34 bites into the snow surface to function as a strong stopper.
