Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slide bearing having an inner peripheral surface coated with a resin overlay layer formed of a binder resin and at least one of a solid lubricant and a hard substance, and capable of shortening the running-in time at an operation start time and attaining the effect of a friction reduction and the effect of an abrasion resistance improvement.SOLUTION: A slide bearing 1 arranges vertically halved members 2 and 2 prepared by halving a cylinder in parallel with the axial direction, and is coated on the inner circumferences of the vertically halved members 2 with a binder resin and at least one of a sold lubricant and a hard substance. In the axial direction end part of the aforementioned vertically halved member 2, there is formed a thin groove 3 in the axial end part of said halved member 2 of the lower side in the circumferential direction from a rotational direction downstream side mating face to a predetermined bearing angle.
