Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slide bearing which prevents rattling in a radial direction.SOLUTION: A slide bearing 1 includes: an upper case 2 which is attached to an upper support for attaching a strut assembly of a strut type suspension to a vehicle body; a lower case 3 which is attached to an upper spring seat supporting an upper end of a coil spring of the strut type suspension and is rotatably assembled to the upper case 2 to form an annular space 5 between itself and the upper case 2; and an annular center plate 4 which is arranged in the annular space 5 and enables rotation between the upper case 2 and the lower case 3. The center plate 4 has a bearing surface 41 having a conical surface shape. The upper case 2 has a load transmission surface 27 which slides on a bearing surface 42 of the center plate 4 and has a conical surface shape.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
