Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slide bearing capable of early increasing lubricant temperature with shear heat of an oil film to obtain a friction reduction effect.SOLUTION: A slide bearing 1 is configured such that a cylinder is divided into two members in parallel with an axial direction and an upper halved member 2U and a lower halved member 2L are arranged vertically. A first narrow groove 3 is provided in a circumferential direction at an axial end part of the upper halved member 2U, and further a second narrow groove 13 is provided in the circumferential direction at an axial end part of the lower halved member 2L. Also, the first narrow groove 3 is provided at an upstream side end part in a rotational direction, at a center part in the rotational direction and a downstream side end part in the rotational direction, of the upper halved member 2U.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
