Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slide bearing which supports a load applied to a shaft member while allowing smooth rotation of the shaft member over a long time.SOLUTION: A slide bearing includes: an upper case 2 attached to an upper support for attaching a strut assembly to a vehicle body; a lower case 3 which is rotatably combined with the upper case 2 and forms an annular space 7; and an annular center plate 4 and a slide sheet 5 disposed in the annular space 7. The upper case 2 has a load transmission surface 27 forming an upper surface of the annular space 7. The center plate 4 includes an annular recessed part 43 filled with a lubricant and has a bearing surface 41 which supports a load applied to the load transmission surface 27. The slide sheet 5 is disposed between the load transmission surface 27 and the bearing surface 41 and has a slide surface 51 which slidably contacts with the bearing surface 41. The slide sheet 5 is formed by a thermoplastic, and the center plate 4 is formed by a thermoplastic elastomer having elasticity higher than the thermoplastic.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
