Abstract:
To provide a slide bearing in which the contact with a holder on a back of a bearing is improved and a material yield is improved.SOLUTION: A slide bearing 1 is composed of a pair of upper half member 2 and lower half member 3 obtained by dividing a cylinder into two parts parallel to an axial direction, has a hardened part 25 on end surfaces 2c, 2d of the upper half member 2 in a cylindrical axis direction, and has a hardened part 35 on end surfaces 3c and 3d of the lower half member 3 in the cylindrical axis direction. The hardened parts 25 and 35 are a laser-altered part K where the properties of a material have changed due to the thermal influence of a laser.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
