PURPOSE: To improve the quality of anti-wear by putting in fixation an Al-Si alloy member from which either of primary crystal silicon and eutectic silicon is deposited, on the slide portion, where slide is made with the opposite compo nent, of a slide component made up of an Al alloy die-cast material.
CONSTITUTION: An Al-Si alloy material which is of an ADC-12 material and from which primary crystal Si or eutectic Si is most suitably educed, is worked on into a cylindrical shape, and a sleeve 1 superior in an anti-wear quality is formed. This sleeve 1 is put in fixation on a main body made up of an Al alloy die-cast material, that is, a shaft 2 through pressure entry, shrinkage fit, insertion or the like, and then, a sealing groove 3 for a rotary seal ring for an oil pump or overdrive case or the like in worked on. Thus, a slide compo nent superior in an anti-wear quality, while its light weight is being maintained, can be obtained.
