Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slide device of a seat for an automobile not obstructing the slide of a movable rail even if foreign matter is dropped, and not disturbing the joining work of a joining tool supporting a fixed rail.
SOLUTION: This slide device of the seat is composed of the fixed rail 5 fixed to a floor panel with the joining tool 3 and having an opening at the top; the movable rail 11 supported to a seat cushion, and slidably supported to the fixed rail 5 through the opening of the fixed rail 5; and a foreign matter sliding member 12 supported on the surface faced to the opening side of the fixed rail 5. A leg cover 13 covering a front end part 5b and/or a rear end part is installed in the front end part 5b and/or the rear end part, and a cover member 14 installed between a head part 3a of the joining tool 3 and the foreign matter sliding member 12 is arranged in the top end part of the leg cover 13.
