Abstract:
PURPOSE: To maintain proper airtightness and liquid-tightness by applying the constitution that engaging members are fitted with support shoulder parts to be mutually coupled and engaged with each other at the reverse side, when pivot-moved laterally around mounting members in a direction relative to the plane of a slide fastener separated with two tapes. CONSTITUTION: Two longitudinal rows of engaging members 1 and 2 are laid so as to be secured to two tapes 5 and 6 having sealing/joining plates 19 and 20 via mounting members 3 and 4. In addition, the members 1 and 2 come to be engaged with each other at closing positions, and pressed to each other so as to act as sealants. Also, the mounting members 3 and 4 are arranged at such positions as away from a plane separated with the two tapes 5 and 6. At the same time, the members 1 and 2 have support shoulder parts 9 and 10 to be mutually coupled and engaged with each other at the reverse side, when laterally pivot-moved around the mounting members 3 and 4 in a direction relative to the plane separated with the two tapes 5 and 6, and are aligned with the plates 19 and 20. According to this construction, airtightness and liquid- tightness can be properly maintained.
