Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slide member and a slide mechanism, with which cost increase is suppressed, which have low frictional property and excellent abrasion resistance, and with which generation of rust on the slide face is prevented by suppressing a corrosive action due to an ionic liquid.SOLUTION: A slide mechanism 1 includes a slide member 2 having a slide face 20 and a mating member 3 having an opposite face 30 sliding with the slide face 20 of the slide member 2. The slide member 2 includes a base material 4 formed of a metal and a solid lubricant 5 buried in the base material 4. A plurality of insertion holes 41 are formed on a surface 40 of the base material 4, which configures the slide face 20, at slide contact positions with the opposite face 30 at equal intervals for the purpose of arranging the solid lubricant 5. The solid lubricant 5 includes a graphite porous body, and a lubricant and an ionic liquid composed of bis(trifluoromethanesulfonyl)amide as the anion and imidazolium or ammonium having an alkyl group with 4 or more carbon atoms as the organic cation are made to soak therein.
