PURPOSE: To improve abrasion resistance of a slider in the case that the slider is in motion with the mixture of sliding and hammering by arranging material, different from a block, in a key groove sliding portion of the block engaged with a key of an Oldham's ring.
CONSTITUTION: A scroll compressor has a key part engaged with a key groove of a revolving scroll and a key groove of a block 9, and restricts motion of the revolving scroll 4 by means of an Oldham's ring. A scroll is fixed around an outer periphery of the block 9 by the use of a screw. A portion 9' which is slid with an Oldham's ring key is previously formed on the key groove of the block 9 through mechanical processing by the use of alloy tool steel, followed by nitrosulpurizing. Other portions of the block 9 is molded of cast of flake graphite cast iron. Material of the sliding portion 9' is embedded in a specified position of the die, so that the key groove sliding portion 9' is subjected to internal chill for integral molding. Abrasion resistance of the slider is thus improved.
