Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a force required for sliding a seat while eliminating any play of an upper rail with respect to a lower rail at the time when locking in a slide rail support structure.SOLUTION: In a slide rail support structure, a lock hole 15a standing in a line along a longitudinal direction is provided to the inside plate 14 of a lower rail 10, and a lock arm 30 swinging around a pivot shaft 34 as a center in the directions approaching to and seceding from an inside plate 14 is added to an upper rail 20. The claw 31 of the top of the lock arm 30 is inserted in the lock hole 15a when approaching the inside plate 14 to block the slide of the upper rail 20, and exits the lock hole 15a when seceding from the inside plate 14 to allow the slide of the upper rail 20. Since both claw 31 and lock hole 15a have a taper shape, they are fitted to each other in a wedge shape to eliminate play of the upper rail 20. Further, since it is unnecessary to add a slide member to the upper rail 20, a slide operation is smoothly performed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
