This slide structure of a seat for an automobile as a seat for a vehicle includes a lower rail, an upper rail 2 having a right wall and a left wall 23, a screw rod 3, a nut member 4, and a holding member 5 holding the nut member 4. The right wall and the left wall 23 of the upper rail 2 have nut receiving holes 20, respectively. The nut member 4 includes a large-diameter part 40, and both axial end faces 40a, 40b of the large-diameter part 40 are inserted in the nut receiving holes 20 of the right wall and the left wall 23, and opposed to a front inner face 20a and a rear inner face 20b formed by blocking the nut receiving holes 20 at a minute spacing S.
