PURPOSE: To improve the operability of a slide switch to which a locking mechanism is added, to make a main power source switch used for the switch generally available, and to make the slide switch compact.

CONSTITUTION: A through angular hole 32 formed on the bottom part of an angular groove 30 is provided on a part of a case main body 10, and at least two notched parts are provided symmetrically on the through angular hole 32. A center hole is provided on a slider 14, and a plurality of claw parts are protruded on the side surface of the slider, and a holder 20 is provided, which is connected to a main power source switch, and which is locked by inserting the claw part therein. A compression spring 18 and a locking member 16 provided with a pressure protrusion part and a locking rod, are interposed between the slider 14 and the holder 20 so as to insert the pressure protrusion part into the center hole of the slider 14 while the compression spring 18 is actuated.
