To provide a slide switch, which has a simple construction, can be produced at low cost, can maintain a good click feeling for a lengthy period of time, and can be stably used.

The slide switch of the present invention has a switch body 22 made of a synthetic resin, which is slidingly disposed in a switch box 21. At the switch body 22, there is formed an engaging portion 22c which is protruded vertically to a slide direction of the switch body 22. The engaging portion 22c at its end surface has a plurality of concave portions 22e formed in the slide direction. A spring member 26 made of a synthetic resin is attached to the switch box 21. The spring box 26 includes a plate spring portion 26b disposed in the slide direction of the switch body 22; and a latch portion 26c formed at an approximately middle portion of the plate spring portion and selectively engaged with the respective concave portions 22e. At the spring member 26, there is formed integrally a bending control portion 26d which controls a bending moment of the plate spring portion 26b upon switchover.
