Abstract:
PURPOSE: To enhance operability of a slide switch by providing a slider with ribs so as to regulate the position of a covering plate.
CONSTITUTION: A slider 1 provided with a contact 9 is pushed down inside a case 10 via a control portion 5 and is put in a reciprocating movement in the direction of the arrow (ab) so that the 'ON' and 'OFF' of the switch is controlled. Ribs 7, 8 provided at the slider 1 prevent a covering plate 6 from moving out of its position in the direction of the arrow (ab) and in the perpendicular direction, and so operability of the slider is prevented from being lowered when the plate 6 is sandwiched between the slider 1 and the case 10, and thus a slide switch of enhanced operability is offered.
