PURPOSE: To prevent warp, to smoothly take in and out, and to carry out the work without hurting the fingers, by installing a front edge member made of a synthetic resin forming a grip, to the front edge of a metallic table main body having flanges hung down from at least both left and right sides.

CONSTITUTION: At both left and right sides of a main body 3 made of a metal plate of a slide table 2, hanging flanges 4 and inner flanges 6 continued to the hanging flanges 4 are formed, and a locking hole 5 is formed near the front end of the flange 4. A front edge member 3 installed to the slide table main body 3 is a synthetic resin product made by injection molding, a handle 12 is opened at the lower side, and locking arms 9 forming a wedge form locking projection 10 are provided toward the inner side of the flange 4, at both left and right sides. In order to assemble the slide table 2, the front edge member 8 is pushed in to insert the locking projection 10 into the engaging hole 5 by the elasticity of the locking arm 9, and the L-shaped metal fitting at the lower side of the slide table main body 3, and the installing boss of the front edge member 8 are fixed through a screw.
