A console box 1 is composed of a base 4 held by a rail 3 and a console main body 5 in which the base 4 is attached/detached. A slide lock mechanism 16 for regulating the movement of the base 4 is provided on the recessed part 15 of the base 4. The slide lock mechanism 16 is composed of a lever 22 arranged in a recessed part 15 and a slide stopper pivoted on the lever 22. The slide stopper can form a lock state inserted in the stopper insertion hole of the rail 3 and an unlock state pulled out from the stopper insertion hole. First/second strikers 46, 49 are provided on the base 4 and a first hook 64 engaged/disengaged to/from the first striker 46, an engaging/disengaging lock mechanism 66 engaged/disengaged to/from the second striker 46 and an operation hole 81 capable of the operation of the lever 22 are provided on the console main body 5.
