Abstract:

To provide a sliding bearing which satisfies all of comfortability, seizure resistance and wear resistance.

In a sliding bearing in which a coating layer 17 is provided on a bearing alloy layer 15 mounted to a back metal layer 13, the coating layer 17 is comprised of a resin overlay layer 17a provided in an axial-direction center portion of the bearing alloy layer 15 and metal overlay layers 17b provided in both end portions of the resin overlay layer, wherein a ratio L1/L0 of an axial length of the resin overlay layer 17a with respect to an axial length of the sliding bearing is 0.4 to 0.9 and a film thickness of the resin overlay layer 17 is 3 μm or more.
