Abstract:
To provide a sliding bearing that comprises a detent mechanism that facilitates assembly work.SOLUTION: A sliding bearing comprises an upper case 2, a lower case 3, and a center plate 4 arranged between the upper case 2 and the lower case 3 to realize relative rotation between the upper case 2 and the lower case 3. The center plate 4 comprises an annular rib 44 inserted into an annular convex part 33 of the lower case 3. A tip surface 440 of the annular rib 44 comprises a gear part 443 in which crest parts 441 and trough parts 442 are formed alternately and continuously in a circumferential direction. The lower case 3 comprises engaging parts 337 engaging with the trough parts 442 of the gear part 443 formed in the tip surface 440 of the annular rib 44 of the center plate 4.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
