Abstract:
To reduce attacking action against copper on a trolley side by giving a light, good sliding characteristic to a sliding board.
In a compound material in which ceramic fiber and lubricant material are dispersed in a matrix of aluminum or aluminum alloy, a porous fiber compact 1 is molded with alumina silica short fibers 2 and a lubricant material. Then, it is set in a squeeze casting machine, having identical shape, and squeeze casting is performed and a sliding board is produced.
