Abstract:
To provide a sliding component which is formed in a sliding part and stabilizes a phase made of liquid and a phase made of gas.
A first sliding component 100 constitutes one of the first sliding component 100 and a second sliding component relatively rotated while planar end faces slide on each other. A plurality of dimples 101 are arranged on the sliding surfaces to position the phase made of gas out of the phase made of liquid and the phase made of gas formed to circle around the rotational center in the sliding parts of the two components when the two components are relatively rotated.
