Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sliding-door open-close device for an automobile capable of surely closing a sliding door without scaling up the device in the sliding-door open-close device for the automobile automatically opening and closing the sliding door by an actuator.
SOLUTION: A controller closes a sliding door by a sliding driving device on the basis of a closing command signal from an open-close control switch, and rotates a latch constraining a striker fixed onto a car body by a door closer device from a half-latch place to a full-latch place when the door reaches the half-latch place. The controller stops the operation of the sliding driving device when the sliding door reaches the intermediate place PO of the half-latch place and the full-latch place, and stops the operation of the door closer device when the door reaches the full-latch place.
