To provide a sliding door which lowers its sealing body only in a manner assuming a completely door-closed state even if manufacturing/mounting tolerance is included in a door frame or a door sill.
According to the structure of the sliding door, a door panel 20 has a sealing mechanism 50 arranged at a lower edge thereof. The sealing mechanism 50 has a packing 65 extending along the lower edge of the door panel 20, and roller assemblies 70 for rolling on the door sill 10 and being connected to the packing 65. The roller assemblies 70 are movable with respect to the sealing mechanism 50 in a door sliding direction by means of slots 79. The door sill 10 has recesses 13 formed therein in which rollers 71 of the roller assemblies 70 fall when the door is closed. Thus even if the rollers 71 and the recesses 13 are relatively deviated from each other due to mounting/manufacturing error of the door or the door sill 10, the locations of the rollers 71 are adjustable in the door sliding direction, and therefore the rollers 71 can correctly fall in the recesses 13 when the door is closed.
