To provide a sliding gate door which is capable of suppressing the oscillation of a door body around a guide rail and the vibration at a door body stop end around a guide post, and smoothly performing the opening/closing operation of the door body.
A guide post 2 comprises a pair of supports 21 erected with a specified interval along the moving direction of a door body 3, a pair of horizontal rotary rollers to hold an upper end of the door body 3 are provided on an upper end of the supports 21, a support roller abutted on a lower side of the door body 3 is provided on a lower part of both supports 21, a suspension base pillar 4 is erected at the door body suspension base end position in a condition where the door body 3 is moved with a passage part fully opened, at least two guide rails 5 are provided parallel to each other in the vertical position between the guide post 2 and the suspension pillar 4, and a traveling roller projected in the vertical direction of the door body 3 is suspended in a guide groove formed in the guide rail 5.
