Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sliding machine which comprises a new combination of a sliding member, which is covered with a DLC film, with a lubricant so that a remarkably lower friction coefficient can be realized.SOLUTION: The sliding machine includes: a pair of sliding members which have, respectively, sliding surfaces which can be moved relatively and are opposed to each other; and the lubricant which can be interposed between the opposed sliding surfaces. At least one of the sliding surfaces comprises a covered plane covered with an amorphous carbon film consisting of 1-30% of a specific element (a dope element) consisting of at least one of B, Ti, V and Mo, 0-25% of H and the balance C with impurities when the whole of the amorphous carbon film is defined as 100 atom%. The lubricant contains 25-800 ppm of an oil-soluble molybdenum compound having a chemical structure comprising three nuclei of Mo as Mo-containing mass of the whole mass of the lubricant.
