To provide a sliding material composition for a swash plate of a swash plate type compressor, capable of improving a sliding characteristic under a high speed-high load sliding condition.
This sliding material composition for the swash plate of the swash plate type compressor includes a base resin and a solid lubricant. The base resin is at least one kind selected from a polyimide resin and a polyamide-imide resin for satisfying an expression : Y-0.76X+200 (in the expression (1), Y represents tensile strength (MPa) of the resin in 25C, and X represents an elongation (%) of the resin in 25C). The solid lubricant is at least one kind selected from a group composed of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), a perfluoroethylene-propene copolymer (FEP) a tetrafluoroethylene-perfluoroalkyl vinyl ether copolymerization resin, an ethylene-tetrafluoroethylene copolymer (ETFE) a polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF), an ethylene-chlorotrifluoroethylene copolymer (ECTFE) and graphite.
