Abstract:
To improve Al adhesion resistance while maintaining high sliding characteristic and workability.
This material consists of a geen compact, containing 50-90vol.% of graphite powder, and a metallic material consisting of at least either of Al-base metal and Mg-base metal and filled into the pores in the green compact. Because graphite acts as matrix and the volume percentage of Al and/or Mg is low, Al adhesion resistance can be improved while maintaining high sliding characteristic and workability.
