Abstract:
To provide a sliding member having excellent wear resistance and thermal conductivity and capable of responding to higher pressure and a longer service life, and a reciprocating compressor equipped with the sliding member.
This rider ring (sliding member) is formed by a composite material including bronze powders of ≥10 wt.% and ≤50 wt.%, molybdenum disulfide of ≥3 wt.% and ≤10 wt.%, carbon fibers of ≤1 wt.% and a remaining part comprising modified polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE).
