Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a sliding member for a textile machinery having a low friction coefficient at a low cost and excellent fittingness to a thread with a high reliability.
CONSTITUTION: A sliding member for a textile machinery is composed of a sintered body whose main components are TiO2 50-90mol% and BaO 50-10mol% or TiO2 50-80mol% and CaO 50-20mol% and constituted with 0.01-0.50μm of average roughness (Ra) on the center line of its surface.
