Abstract:
To suppress deterioration of sliding performance.SOLUTION: A sliding member for a vertical axis rotary electric machine comprises a first layer, a second layer, and an intermediate layer. The intermediate layer has a first surface joined to the first layer, a second surface located on the opposite side of the first surface, and a plurality of through holes penetrating from the first surface to the second surface. The first layer has a plurality of groove parts provided on the side surface of the intermediate layer, where the plurality of groove parts extends in a direction orthogonal to a lamination direction. The through hole and the groove part partially overlap each other, a groove facing portion facing the groove part is provided on the first surface, and a part of the second layer is inserted into the through hole and the groove part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
