Abstract:
Provided is a slide member which is inexpensive and simple and has excellent low friction properties. In a slide member (1), a grease (4) containing at least one of molybdenum dialkyldithiocarbamate, molybdenum dithiophosphate, molybdenum disulfide, and polytetrafluoroethylene as a lubricating additive is interposed between two opposite members (2, 3), and the members slide against each other. The slide member is characterized in that an amorphous hard carbon film (5) (DLC film (5)) which contains hydrogen and has a Young's modulus of 200-300 GPa is formed on a slide surface (2a) of at least one member (2) of the two members (2, 3).
