Abstract:
PURPOSE: To enable fitting/separating work regardless of the skillness of a worker by connecting a head for exchange and a truck with universal type one point supporting mechanism and arranging fitting guide enabling connection/ separation with a receiving guide in a molten metal vessel to the head for exchange.
CONSTITUTION: The head for exchange and the molten metal vessel 50 are preliminarily positioned. The fitting guide 13 in the head for exchange is advanced toward the receiving guide 52 in the molten metal vessel 50. Even if the positioning is precisely executed, as tapered part of the receiving guide 52 has large inclining angle, the tip part of the fitting guide 13 is received with this guide. Load caused by shifting is detected, and by shifting a base 8, the precise positioning is executed. Even if the molten metal vessel 50 is swung, this can be adjusted with a universal supporting part 8c. By working the clamp cylinder 8d, a sliding nozzle device is held and the removing work is executed.
