Abstract:
To provide a plate for a non-calcined sliding nozzle having a high strength, excellent oxidative resistance and corrosion resistance from the ambient temperature up to a temperature at a time of use.
A plate refractory for the non-calcined sliding nozzle is generated by mixing 0.5 to 15 wt.% of at least one of an aluminum-magnesium alloy and aluminum and 0.1 to 10 wt.% of a sintering assistant such as an alumina fine powder, a silica fine powder, a titania fine powder having a mean particle size of 20 μm or less with a refractory inorganic material and a carbonaceous raw material, and drying the mixture.
