To provide a sliding pad fixing device for an upper corner part in a tip part of a telescopic boom easily manufacturable by reducing a clearance between an inner boom and an outer boom as much as possible without causing a problem in assembling and insufficiency in strength or for both of side faces of the boom.
This sliding pad fixing device 1 of the telescopic boom includes the outer boom 11, the inner boom telescopically fitted and inserted into an inner side of the outer boom 11, and a sliding pad 2 provided in the upper corner part in the tip part of the outer boom 11 or on inner faces of both side parts to support a part of the inner boom slidably. This device 1 also includes a pad carrier 3 constituted to hold the sliding pad 2 and inserted into the clearance between the outer boom 11 and the inner boom from the front of the boom, and a carrier fixing part 4 constituted to support the pad carrier 3 and be fixed on a scarf-like flange 11d provided along an outer peripheral face of a front end of the outer boom 11.
