To obtain a sliding part exhibiting excellent frictional abrasion resistance, dimensional accuracy and noise-reduction in sliding and useful for automobile, electronic and electric equipment, etc., by using a polyketone resin composed of a specific recurring unit.
This sliding part is made of a polyketone resin (A) containing the recurring unit A1 of formula I and the recurring unit A2 of formula II at an A2/A1 molar ratio of 0.01-0.10. Preferably, the sliding part is further compounded, in addition to the component A, with (B) 5-100 pts.wt. of an elastomer having a glass transition temperature of ≤20°C, (C) 0.01-5 pts.wt. of an epoxy compound and (D) 0.01-20 pts.wt. of a crystal nucleating agent based on 100 pts.wt. of the component A. The component B is compounded in such a manner as to give an average particle diameter of 20 μm in the matrix of the component A.
