Abstract:
PURPOSE: To produce the parts of a wear resistant aluminum bronze alloy as the member for a power transmission mechanism and a sliding mechanism in various industrial machines.
CONSTITUTION: This wear resistant aluminum bronze alloy used for industrial machines is the one contg., by weight, 7 to 12% Al, 1.5 to 5.5% Mn and 0.45 to 2.7% Si, and the balance substantial Cu, in which Mn-Si compounds are dispersed in the alloy structure and having ≥5% elongation percentage. This alloy is excellent in seizing resistance and wear resistance by double or above those of the general aluminum bronze alloy (JIS-ALBC2).
