PURPOSE: To improve durability of guide rails, by furnishing a sliding plate formed with an anticorrosive sliding membrane made of a self-melting alloy material at the surface, at the inside of guide grooves of guide rails of an endless chain which runs at a high speed within a high temperature atmosphere.
CONSTITUTION: At the both sides 11 and at the bottom surface 12 of guide grooves 9a, 9b, 10a, and 10b formed on the upper surface of the guide rails 8 for a pair of endless chains 3, sliding plates 21 and 22 are installed respectively in holes 26. The sliding plates 21 and 22 have a membrane 25 which is made, after coating a self-melting alloy in a metallic powder weld injection on the surface 24 of a longish parent material 23 of a rolled plain steel as a basic material, by reheating to remelt the weld injected self-melting metal layer to form an alloy layer over the parent material, and removing bubbles. As a result, even in a condition at a temperature 200W250°C and at the speed 200m/min, the membrane has an excellent antitearing, antiabrasive, heat-resistant, and anticorrosive property, and the durability of guide rails 8 is improved.
